Auxiliary
In order to run the entire process smoothly there are some physical facilities commonly known as Auxiliary. These facilities may be summarized as:
Filling Capacity: 2500 cylinder (12 kg)/day.
Production Capacity 60 Nm3/hrwith purity is 99.99%.
SPL has modern flaring system to save the factory premises during emergency even in normal operation. Emergency Flaring Capacity 51 MMSCFD
Storage Capacity: 5490 L (water equivalent).
SPL has a waste water treatment plant to treated the process wastage before disposal. Treated water is disposed after obtaining environmentally tolerable range of BOD, COD, pH and TDS.
API separator is widely used for Oil separation. SPL has API treatment unit for separating the oil and others solid from rainy and Oily water. In API separator oil is separated and returned back to processing unit for further processing. Water which remained in API separator is treated with hydro scavenger chemical, hypo, and hydrogen peroxide. Afterward checking pH, TDS, BOD and COD treated water is disposed.
SPL has utility transmission line in 33KV with 14 MVA step down transformer.
SPL has a filling station for Xylene, Toluene, MTT, Kerosene, Diesel and Hydrocarbon Solvent truck loading and delivery.
SPL has a well-equipped mechanical warehouse for fabricating different equipment and plant maintenance.
SPL has three units of Caterpillar Diesel Engine Generators. Each capacity of 1.6 MW, SPPL also has 1 MW UPS for emergency and critical load.
SPL has seven different feeders to feed different MCC and plant utilities in the switchgear room.
SPL have three units of sophisticated iMCC from Schneider and four units of traditional MCC in MCC Room. iMCC is intelligent MCC with electronic control..
SPL has DCS control system for controlling the process. The DCS is Emerson DeltaV DCS system of SD series with modern technology Charms System.
